I knew before I went to see Cathie, something had to change and I needed someone that I could fully open to about everything that was running in my mind keeping me up at night and just adding chaos and making me timid of not only meeting new woman, but opening up to people in general. I just couldn't figure out how to get closure on my previous relationship and more I knew I was repeating a pattern but couldn't put my finger on what it was. Through my work with Cathie I was able to meet with my ex one more time to give the relationship the peace it needed and slowly began opening up to new people. The things that used to run me are still there, but I operate with more awareness and have the highest esteem for myself than I ever have. I also feel like I am able to embrace more of the process of growing with someone not just the good times. Surprisingly, my closest familial relationships have begun improving and I also am understanding where some of the deepest hurts I have came from, and in seeing them, see why I have run from closeness and authenticity in my relationships." My mom has been staying with me and am beginning to understand the fear of abandonment in my life. and we are the closest we have ever been.
